    The installation of the silencer was completed yesterday. We turned the system on and was amazed at how quiet it sounded standing by the silencer. We recorded a reading of 65 decibels (previously 95 decibels) standing next to the silencer. As you move away from the silencer the decibels diminish and the reading is affected by surrounding noise. Moving out to the street you cannot hear the silencer, only surrounding noise. Thanks for your help.
